Ingredients for Cupcakes
For Cupcake Batter:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 egg (optional)
- 1 tbsp Icing sugar (for extra softness)
For Frosting:
- 1 cup Crait Icing Sugar
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- Vanilla essence (few drops)
- Sprinkles or chocolate chips (optional)
Step-by-Step Method
1. Prepare Cupcake Batter
In a mixing bowl, add flour, baking powder, sugar and Icing sugar. Mix well to combine dry ingredients.
2. Add Wet Ingredients
Add melted butter, milk, vanilla essence and egg (optional). Mix until smooth batter forms without lumps.
3. Bake Cupcakes
Pour batter into cupcake molds and bake at 180°C for 15–20 minutes or until golden and fluffy. Let them cool completely.
4. Prepare Crait Icing Sugar Frosting
In a bowl, beat butter until creamy. Gradually add Crait Icing Sugar and mix well. Add milk and vanilla essence to achieve smooth, fluffy frosting.
5. Decorate Cupcakes
Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes. Sprinkle chocolate chips, colorful sprinkles or edible decorations for a bakery-style look.
