Ingredients for Custard Pudding
- 2 tbsp Custard powder
- 2 cups full cream milk
- 4 tbsp sugar (adjust as per taste)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tbsp corn flour (optional for extra thickness)
- 1 tsp Crait Vanilla Custard Powder (for extra smooth texture)
- Chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
- Chocolate chips or caramel topping (optional)
Step-by-Step Method
1. Prepare Custard Slurry
Take 2 tbsp Custard powder in a bowl and mix it with 1/4 cup cold milk. Stir well until smooth and lump-free. This is the base for a creamy pudding.
2. Heat the Milk
Mix 1 tbsp Corn Flour with 2 tbsp water to form a smooth slurry. This is the key step for thickening the soup without lumps.
3. Add Custard Mixture
Slowly add the custard slurry into the warm milk while stirring continuously. This ensures smooth consistency without lumps.
4. Thicken the Pudding
Cook on low flame for 4–5 minutes until the mixture starts thickening. Add 1 tsp Crait Vanilla Custard Powder for extra creaminess and smooth texture.
5. Set the Pudding
Turn off the flame and pour the mixture into serving bowls or molds. Let it cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for 2–3 hours until set.
6. Garnish & Serve
Top with chopped nuts, chocolate chips or caramel sauce before serving. Serve chilled for best taste.
