Ingredients for Pancakes
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Crait Cooking / Baking Soda (for extra fluffiness)
- 2 tbsp melted butter or oil
- Pinch of salt
Step-by-Step Method
1. Prepare Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and Backing soda. Combine well so everything is evenly distributed.
2. Add Wet Ingredients
Add milk, egg (optional), vanilla essence, and melted butter. Mix gently until smooth batter forms. Do not overmix.
3. Crait Fluffiness Step
Add 1 tsp Crait Cooking / Baking Soda and fold lightly. This step helps pancakes become soft, airy, and perfectly fluffy.
4. Rest the Batter
